Paper Shreds

February 21, 2011

Mothers know this.  When all is quiet – it’s time to check on the toddler.  While doing dishes it got quiet and I found him in the bathroom sitting on the floor ripping a role of toilet paper to shreds

I took pictures. Videotaped it. And then instead of cleaning it up and moving him on, I sat on the floor with him and tossed the shreds in the air, saying “weee!”.  He laughed, and copied me again and again until shredded paper had covered the floor and scattered into other nearby rooms.
